Windlands 2 VR Review!

Windlands 2 combines a beautiful environment with fast action swinging, jumping and bow combat. It has a great mini tutorial that guides you along for the first 5 minutes and teaches you the basic's. The movement is well done and I never felt sick or unbalanced like I would expect in this type of game.

At $30 I was worried the game would be a 1 or 2 hour title, but I am glad say that just the campaign is 5-6 hours long. There are multiple area's and a decent story to keep you moving along in the journey. Plus there are a lot of collectibles to collect if your into that kind of thing, which would add a lot of game time if you searched for them all. The worlds are created using a seed system that plants enemies in different spots each time a new world is generated. Multiplayer also have other advanced features that can change up the world and make it more challenging. So there is a lot of replay ability in this game.

Reviewed on an HTC Vive - I5 4690k and a Geforce 1080

Here is my first look video if you'd like to see it in action.
