Factory Runner - First Impressions

I am going to give this a thumbs up, but only buy it if it's $12 or less. For most gamers it will not be worth the $25 price tag, unless you are hardcore into these types of games.
This game does do a lot of fun things that other games in the genre do not. For one, it has survival aspects, well kind of, you have to eat, drink, and urinate. Yep you can piss anywhere you want at no cost it seems. Off a building, towards a person, in your store, on your merchandise, it doesn't matter, relive is all that counts. The food and drinks soon become more of an annoyance than anything, but I am still glad they included it in the game. Secondly you can slap anyone, yep that is right… is there someone standing in your path? Slap Slap Slap. Did you get a customer in wanting items you don't have? Slap Slap Slap. It's satisfying as hell and doesn't seem effect them or the game at all,

The main game loop is selling items from your store to incoming customers. You start with a nice stock of items, and will spend the first few days shelving it and moving it all into your store. When a customer comes in you see what they want and move the items onto the counter to complete the sale. Soon your inventory will be depleted and you will have to drive to a nearby store to restock. You buy it and then haphazardly place it in the back of your truck and take it back to the store. As you complete each sale, your reputation goes up, bring in more and more customers, if you don't have the items or are too slow, the customer leaves and you lose rep.  You can buy a bigger truck, and even a factory to produce and sell goods. I haven't got to that portion of the game yet, but it does interest me.

You can tell the Dev put a ton of work into the details and fun aspects of the game. The apartment is overly furnished and well done, especially compared to the surrounds. The small details make this game unique and interesting, even though it's silly and out of place at times.
